A: It is encouraged to start the booking process 3-6 months prior to the event. This will give you lots of time to make sure care is given to every detail.
Event alterations to the guest count and event details must be finalized 10 days prior to the event. Confirmation of the date will be provided upon receipt of signed contract and deposit.

A: A Special Event Permit is required for an event organizer or host to sell or serve liquor in a location that is not a:
Private residence
Private place
Licensed establishment
Example 1: “We are having our wedding in a friend’s backyard and plan to host an open bar (no charge for alcohol).”
-You do not require a SEP as this is a private residence and you are not charging for alcohol.
Example 2: “My company is hosting an after-work event with employees and invited guests where the booze will be provided.”
-You do not require a SEP as the event is after work hours, only invited guests are attending, and you are not charging for alcohol.
Example 3: “I've rented out a community space for our anniversary party and we’ll be hosting a “twoonie bar” for our guests.” You
-You will need a SEP as most community space rentals do not handle a liquor license and you will be charging for alcoholic beverages.
SEPs will require a "Serving it Right" or "Special Event Server" certificate for the server of the alcohol and they are not permitted to drink at the event. Also note, SEP events do not allow the self-service of alcohol or “Bring your own booze”. All alcohol must be purchased using the SEP from an authorized source.

A: This is where some help may be required to properly assess the needs of your group which is included in our service. These formulas will guide you in the number of servings you’ll get for different types of alcohol.
• Wine
◦ A standard bottle of wine is 750 ml which is roughly 4 six-ounce servings. This will serve 2 - 3 people.
◦ Events where wine is commonly used in toasts may see an increase in wine consumption .
◦ A surplus of wine at a wedding is often useful to be saved for anniversaries and life milestones.
• Beer
◦ A 12-pack of canned beer(354 ml) will serve approximately 4 -6 people, averaging 2 - 3 beers per guest.
◦ For events where the attendees preferences are unknown, it is good practice to offer a crisp lager or lighter beer alongside an darker ale.
• Spirits
◦ A 750 ml bottle will make about 20 - 24 drinks.
◦ Spirits are where most of the decision-making is spent as a host will often do their best to accommodate guests’ preferences.

A: We provide services throughout the lower-mainland including Whistler, Squamish, and the Okanagan. Travel expenses will be assessed and included in your quote.

A: Absolutely! We will provide several drink options that you can choose from or should you have a particular recipe in mind, we will accommodate wherever possible. In addition, we will create menu card as a bar/table fixture.
